I guess I should start by trying to justify the blog’s name…
If you are into Doctor Who like me, you could be forgiven for assuming it had something to do with a certain robot dog… Or maybe you believe it relates to my own border collie Martha (pictured up in the blog’s header, looking cute as always).
In a sense, both are right but they aren’t the main inspiration for choosing such an odd name. Actually, that honour goes to Kristie Miller at the University of Sydney, whose post on the Psychology Today blog on the philosophy of time travel warns us that there’s no point in going back to stop the dog from bolting, all we can really do is help it along and make sure it winds up somewhere nice!
